Multimodal Transport System Ltd. during the time of the work has carrried out a lot of projects related to transportation of equipment for oil and gas industry, pipes and many other kinds of cargo.
Some of these projects:
a) are especially significant for economic development of the states whereto the cargoes have been delivered;
b) have large social significance;
c) have been performed using know-how and technical solutions worked out by our company and having no analogs.
 Oil rig to Belarus
In 2011, works on delivery of an oil rig from Italy via Mariupol to Belarus (Gomel Region, station Rechitsa) are being performed. The customer is freight forwarding company “Scan Global Logistics A/S” (Denmark). The first lot- 241,5 tons- was delivered from Mariupol to destination point by railway. Delivery of the second lot- 643,64 tons- is carried out in part by railway, in part by road trucks. In the nearest time the third lot of the rig will arrive to Mariupol.
 Oil rigs to Belarus
In 2011, works on delivery of oil rigs from Italy via Mariupol to Belarus (Gomel Region, stations Rechitsa, Tsentrolit ) have been performed. The customer is freight forwarding company “Scan Global Logistics A/S” (Denmark). The first oil rig (three lots, 1383,56 tons) was delivered from Mariupol to destination point in part by railway, in part by road trucks. The second oil rig (two lots, 648,71 tons) was also delivered partly by railway, but mainly by road trucks.
 Oil rig to Saudian Arabia
In summer of 2011 , on the order of Italian freight forwarding company “Saga Italia”, despatch of an oil rig (1774 tons) from Poltava Region (Ukraine) via Mariupol port to Saudian Arabia was carried out. The cargo was delivered to the port by road trucks and despatched from the port on m/v “BBC Ocean”.
 Modules for a rig in the Caspian Sea
In July, 2010 the company “Multimodal Transport System Ltd.” on the order of the company “Saga Italia Spa” at the Shipyard berth has performed the work on transshipment from mv “Beluga Stavanger” onto two barges of two accomodation modules for a rig (Blocks A & B) with destination point – aritficial island EPC2 in the Caspian Sea.
The complexity and the unique character of this job was in that, firstly, the modules had a very large weight and dimensions: Block A- 42,75 õ 16,19 õ 8,72 meters, weight 486,480 tons; Block Â- 33,88 õ 16,03 õ 9,0 meters, weight 447,900 tons; and secondly, as they had a complex bottom configuration, they were to be transshipped from the ocean vessel onto preliminary prepared supports of a complex constructive shape, preliminarily assembled on the barges. The job was done with good quality and within the scheduled time. The modules were successfully delivered to the destination point together with additional equipment (113 tons) which was delivered to Mariupol by road trucks from Ialy and also loaded onto the barges together with the modules.
 Equipment from UAE to Turkmenistan
In 2010 the company “Multimodal Transport System Ltd.” on the order of the company “Rusforward” performed transshipment of 336 tons of equipment delivered from UAE to Mariupol by mv “BBC Africa”. At the Shipyard berth the cargo was transshipped onto a barge and delivered to Kiyanly port, Turkmenistan. Among this cargo, there was a single point mooring buoy- a piece of 200 tons weight.
 Drilling Rig No. 269
In June, 2008 on the order from St.Petersburg Branch of Swiss company “Panaplina”, we have successfully performed transshipment of drilling rig No. 269 (191 pcs/ 2215.077 tons) that had been delivered from Houston to Mariupol by ocean vessel “Beluga Revolution”, to river vessels and barges for further delivery to port Akau (Kazakhstan).
 Transportation of pile sheets
In December 2007 - January 2008, on the order of Italian freight forwarding company “Saima Avandero”, we have performed transshipment in Mariupol (Azov Shipyard) and delivery by railroad to Kazakhstan (stations Mangyshlak, Eralievo) of 491 pcs/ 1827 tons of pile sheets and anchor material. The length of pile sheets was 20 and 25 meters. This is a unique job, because nobody ever had performed transportation of transit cargo of such length for such a distance.
 Equipment for oil fields in Kazakhstan
In 2005 - 2007, on the order of freight forwarding company “Saima Avandero Spa” for the customer- company ‘AGIP KCO”- a large work on delivery of equipment for oil fileds in Kazakhstan was carried out.
Only in 2005, transshipment of more than 3850 tons of equipment and living modules in Mariupol port and delivery to stations Tendyk and Atyrau was performed. The cargo was delivered to Mariupol port by eight ocean vessels.
In 2006, transshipment and delivery of more than 2900 tons of equipment from three vessels (one- via Ilyichevsk port, and two- via Mariupol port) to Mangyshlak, Baku, Astrakhan was performed.
In 2007, transshipment in Mariupol port and Azov Shipyard and delivery to different destination points in Kazakhstan of cargoes, delivered to Mariupol by 12 vessels - 5126,165 tons of equipment, road machimery, other cargoes for these projects.
In 2008 these works have been continued. In the first half of the year 2008, Multimodal Transport Ltd. have performed transshipment in Mariupol (Azov Shipyard) and delivery to different destination points in Kazakhstan of cargo that had been delivered to Mariupol by 4 vessels: 4336 tons of equipment + 18/40" + 2/20".
 Drilling Rig No.321 – shipment to Columbia
Rig No.321, which in March, 2003 was delivered to Mangyshlak (station Aktau-port), in September, 2006 was returned therefrom to Mariupol by two river vessels, loaded to ocean vessel ‘BBC Ireland’ and on September, 17, 2006ã. was despatched for further work to Columbia. Same as in 2003ã., the job was performed together with Panalpina- St.Petersburg for the customer- company Pride Forasol. The weight of the cargo was 2789,825 tons.
 Rigs No. 401, 402
In September/ October 2005, "Multimodal Transport System Ltd." on the order from Italian freight forwarding company "Saima Avandero S.p.A" have successfully performed transshipment of two oil rigs of the company "AGIP KCO":
No. 401- 4 016,377 tons / 21 603,83 cub.m., and No. 402- 4 510,620 tons/ 23 301,04 cub.m, that arrived to Mariupol (Shipyard berth) on two ocean vessels (Happy Rover and Da Zhong) within a fortnight interval, onto nine sea-river vessels for further delivery to the artificial "D" island in Caspian Sea, where they will be assembled for oil exploration.
Both these rigs, manufactured in USA, are unique in their parameters in all aspects (weight, dimensions, quantity of transported pieces).
 Rig No.321
In March, 2003. Multimodal Transport System Ltd. together with Panalpina- St.Petersburg have successfully performed transportation of oil rig No.321 for the customer- company Pride Forasol. This job has been done with high quality and in a very limited time period.
Within 20 days, about 2000 tons/ 8000 cub.m. of equipment were transshipped and despatched by three block trains, 121 waggons total.
Dismantled rig was delivered to Mariupol port by two ocean vessels- "Caribbean Trader" and "BBC Denmark".
The cargo was discharged from ocean vessels at Mariupol Port, loaded to railway rolling stock and in three block trains delivered to Aktau -Port railway station. Both vessels were processed in shortest time.
Actually, for the first time in world practice half of the cargo was handled in direct variant- "board-waggon".
M/v "Caribbean Trader" arrived to Mariupol Port on 11.03.2003. Discharge commenced at 09.40 12.03, completed at 15.36 13.03. All the cargo from the vessel was despatched in one block- train (38 waggons +1 waggon with the guards) from Mariupol Port on 18.03., arrived to Aktau-Port station on 24.03.
M/v "BBC Denmark" arrived to Mariupol Port on 17.03.2003. Discharge commenced at 09.30 17.03, completed at 06.00 20.03. The cargo from the vessel was despatched in two block- trains: The first block- train (43 waggons +1 waggon with the guards) was despatched from Mariupol Port on 22.03., arrived to Aktau-Port station on 27.03. The second block- train (40 waggons +1 waggon with the guards) was despatched from Mariupol Port on 30.03., arrived to Aktau-Port station on 05.04.
 Transportation of Rig ¹ 319 Houston(USA)- Mariupol- Caspian Sea
Rig ¹ 319 (1930 tons/8600 cub.m) was successfully delivered to an artificial island in Caspian Sea in August 2002.
The Rig was delivered from Houston to Mariupol on an ocean vessel. In Mariupol transshipment of the Rig from the ocean vessel to three barges and a sea-river type vessel was performed, and then Rig ¹ 319 was delivered to an artificial island in Caspian Sea, near Aktau, specially built for its operation.
 Pipes 18 m long
During February, 2001 - January, 2002 Multimodal Transport System Ltd. in direct partnership with Ukrainian Railroads (Ukrzaliznitsa), Ministry of Railways of Russia, together with the companies "Trans Global Projects Ltd" (UK) , Euro Azov Service (Mariupol) has been performing delivery of pipes 18 metres long, arriving from Greece to Mariupol port, to destination points in Kazakhstan (Zhilaevo, Poima, Kazakhstan, Algabas, Makat). Total volume of this project was 70 000 tons.
The peculiarity of this project is the fact that for transportation of pipes 18 m long a special project of their lashing on long-size railway platforms was developed.
The pipes were despatched from Mariupol in block trains, 30-35 platforms in each, with integral fixtures installed on the platforms. Empty platforms with the fixtures were then returned to Mariupol -Port railway station, to be used for transportation of further lots of pipes.
 Drilling Rig 259
In February 2001 transportation of the rig (1477.910 tons) from Mariupol to Aksaj (Kazakhstan) was performed. The most part of the pieces were delivered from Mariupol Port by railway, oversize pieces- by road trucks. The transportation was performed successfully, nowithstanding complex road and weather conditions in Kazakhstan.
 Sarmat brewery
In 2000-2001 delivery of equipment to Donetsk brewery was performed : 21 tanks- in 2000, 28 tanks- in 2001.
 Nann- Lugar Program
In 1994-1995 Multimodal Transport System Ltd. carried out transportations of a large amount of equipment and machinery which arrived to Ukraine from the USA according to Nunn- Lugar program for dismantling of Ukrainian military rocket bases.
