Head office of Multimodal Transport System Ltd. is situated in Mariupol.
Mariupol Commercial Sea Port - the extreme eastern port of Ukraine- is located in 30 kilometres from Russian border and is the third in Ukraine in freight turn-over.
The port all year round carries out handling of general and bulk export- import cargo- metals, tubes, coal, grain, equipment (including oversized), containerized cargo.
Cargo is delivered from/to Mariupol to/from Turkey, Spain, Italy, Middle East countries.
Multimodal Transport System Ltd. attracted the attention of a number of leading world companies to Mariupol port, geographical position of which makes it the best port for transportation of project cargo to Kazakhstan, Central Asia, Russia.
Having a general agreement with Mariupol port, Multimodal Transport System Ltd. carries out all the complex of the works in the port-control of cargo movement, warehousing, loading/discharge on board/from board, on waggon/from waggon, solving the matters related to customs formalities, etc.
To expand the possibilities of cargo handling, Multimodal Transport System Ltd. has reached an agreement with Azov Shipyard (Mariupol), where an area for pipes and equipment handling was established. The Shipyard possesses necessary possibilities and staff for cargo handling. Cargo transshipment via the Shipyard has been successfully carried out since 2003y.
Multimodal Transport System Ltd. not only carries out sea transportations of export cargo from Mariupol, but also performs handling and delivery of cargo by river-sea vessels via Mariupol and Volga-Don Channel to Caspian Sea ports.
The system of relations with port authorities and freight forwarding companies working at the ports of Aktau, Atyrau, Astrakhan, Turkmenbashi, Baku, enables us to perform through freight forwarding of cargo to Kazakhstan, Central Asia, Azerbajdzhan, Iran.
The services rendered by Multimodal Transport System Ltd. related to sea transportations, include:
- Delivery to the port of loading (Mariupol) by railway, by road trucks or by water ways;
- Transshipment at the port, storage and delivery to FOB;
- Supervising of loading and discharge;
- Organisation of inspection engaging high class specialists- Bureau Veritas, SGS, Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
- Transportation from the port of discharge (Mariupol) to destination point.
